Whether you're a home buyer, seller, or real estate professional, AFC’s coverage brings you peace of mind. Use the button below to create your own invoice for closing.
Buying a house means dealing with many unknown factors. Coverage from AFC helps you prepare your home and your budget for what the future holds. We make our coverage easy to get and easy to use
for buyers, sellers, and real estate professionals.
Here are some things homeowners and realtors like about our home warranty coverage:
AFC lets you choose who comes into your home for repairs—or we can send someone from our network of skilled professionals
24/7 in-house support and an online member portal makes it quick and simple to request repairs.
When we fix something in your home, we guarantee the repair for the life of your plan. If something is wrong with our repair work, we’ll resend a technician to fix it at no cost to you.
Getting coverage couldn’t be easier, and agents and their clients have the same dedicated account manager to simplify communication.
Coverage can begin as soon as you close on your home—all you need is a valid home inspection.
A warranty is a powerful tool to protect buyers against inevitable repair costs.
Home inspections don’t show everything, and they only show a snapshot of what’s going on in your home. A home warranty protects you after you buy, at a time when money for repairs might be tighter than ever.
Rather than worry about the hassle and expense of something breaking in your home, protect your budget and sanity with AFC. It’s not just protection, it’s peace of mind.

HOME SELLERS
If you’re selling your home, offering a warranty along with the purchase is an inexpensive way to show good faith to your buyers.
A warranty removes the fear many homeowners have of surprise expenses down the road. Especially in today’s market in which due diligence time and home inspections are decreasing, offering a warranty may remove a
barrier to purchase for an otherwise motivated buyer.
REAL ESTATE AGENTS
AFC’s warranties were created with both homeowners and real estate professionals in mind. We make ordering coverage quick and straightforward—you can create invoices online in minutes—so you can
focus on your clients and listings.
We provide the same dedicated account managers for both customers and clients to simplify the sign-up process and quickly resolve issues.
Finally, we offer coverage you can get behind. Besides offering the *longest work guarantee in the industry and allowing homeowners to choose their own technicians, we do the most to take the headache out of
home repairs.
Our in-house team and our online portal means our customers get repairs taken care of quickly and without hassle.
But we don’t expect you to take this on faith. Check out our customer reviews to see AFC in action.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Yes! Just call 1-866-242-0629 to transfer the plan to the buyer.
You can start protecting your home with a plan at any time, but in order to take advantage of special real estate pricing and terms, you must set up the plan within 15 days of purchase of a home.
For plans purchased as part of the sale of a home: with a valid home inspection report, we can begin coverage immediately upon closing of the home, waiving the
standard 30-day waiting period and using your closing date as the beginning of the policy.
Please note that any issues with covered items that appear on the home inspection will have to be resolved before the item will be covered (see the next question below).
Typically, any issues found in the home inspection report should be addressed by the seller prior to closing. Known pre-existing conditions that show up on your home
inspection report will not be covered by AFC or any home warranty company.
When you have repairs done on your new home prior to closing, hold on to any proof-of-repair invoices—realtors usually keep copies of these documents. These invoices help AFC confirm that your home had no pre-existing
issues when your membership started.
A home inspector notes whether or not the unit functions at all, but doesn’t conduct any in-depth tests. Service Champions, a Northern California HVAC company, explains:
Home buyers assume that the home inspector has tested their heating and air conditioning equipment. But the home inspector may simply turn on your furnace and air conditioner to make sure they work…. HVAC systems, like cars,
can work even if there are major problems.
By contrast, preventative maintenance is performed by a licensed HVAC contractor and is geared towards increasing the lifespan and performance of your unit. During maintenance, contractors not only inspect
the unit but also clean filters and coils and make any adjustments necessary. Learn more about preventative maintenance and its benefits here.
We love working with real estate professionals!
A few things to remember when helping your home buyers:
Real estate agents can easily create an invoice here.
When working with buyers, we can waive the standard waiting period, which usually extends over the first month of the plan, with a valid home inspection report. The report must be current, and we must have the document,
whether supplied by the realtor or the buyer, before we can waive the waiting period and allow customers to make claims.
